“The Southern University Ag Center has a strong and consistent history of supporting the potential of Louisiana’s small and rural businesses,” said Krystle Allen, Ph.D., Assistant Community and Economic Development Specialist at the SU Ag Center and Conference Organizer. “This year we are proud to partner with the Southern University Law Center Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) to expand our conference. It is important to us that all businesses can participate in this meeting; therefore, the meeting is free and open to the public. We hope that businesses will join us to learn, grow and improve their business,” said Allen.
Small Businesses Rule The World! Insights From Collision Conference 2023
The conference will provide an opportunity for the small business community to work with large companies and government organizations to improve their business. This forum is perfect for small businesses, women-owned small businesses, disadvantaged small businesses, 8(a) certified companies, HUBZone certified companies, and veteran-owned (including Service-Disabled Veteran owned) to learn about the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure.
Entrepreneurs can expect to learn about contracts, negotiations, training, and certification information. The course is also recommended for special attendance.
“This four-day conference will allow MBEs to participate in more business opportunities and increase their business – competing with the government and participating organizations with training and workshops aimed at improving their business,” said Charletta Fortson, director of the Louisiana MBDA Business Center. “The goal is to do more than just provide information, but everyone is involved – especially our small businesses walking with tools, needs and opportunities to measure.”
