As part of Comcast’s RISE (Representation, Investment, Strength and Empowerment) program, Comcast will provide a grant package to 100 small businesses in Memphis and Shelby County, including business consulting services, educational materials, a $5,000 cash grant, marketing support and innovation technology. From June 1 through June 30, eligible small businesses in Memphis will be able to apply for the Comcast RISE program at www.ComcastRISE.com.
The Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis was one of five nonprofits selected to help support the program and increase applications in Memphis. Other organizations include Continuum Business Council Minority Mid-South, Epicenter, Black Business Association of Memphis and Memphis Urban League.
Memphis is one of five cities selected by Comcast to award grant packages to 100 local businesses. These recipients join 13,000 entrepreneurs nationwide selected as Comcast RISE winners since the program began in late 2020, including 105 previous winners in Memphis.
